Heat transfer units take heat from either a ceiling area or directly above a heater (wood heater or heat pump unit) and transfer that heat to other rooms in your house. They are thermostatically controlled and have a silent inline fan. Heat transfer units are a cheaper way of heating your entire home and reducing condensation on windows in those cold winter mornings

A: Heat source (wood heater or reverse cycle air conditioner)

B: Thermostat and or fan speed control

C: Air intake vent

In this example the room doors need to be left open so that the air returns to the main room.
